Season is Almost Here!

 

We’re excited for another great season at our new Beaumont Curling Rink location—and we need your help to get things started!

 

Volunteers Needed – Season Setup

 

We’re looking for volunteers to help pick up equipment and set up the courts, scoreboards, carpet, and other items to get the season underway.

 

Setup will take place April 13th and 14th.  If you can help, please call or text Charlie Cull – (780) 370-2175.

 

Scramble Start Date & Open House

 

We’re thrilled to share that our new location is already making a difference—our scrambles are kicking off earlier than ever! 🎉

 

The official start date is April 21st, and we can’t wait to get things rolling.

 

Everyone must sign a new waiver for insurance purposes upon registration. To speed things up you can register online and find the waiver on our website at: Play > Membership Registration

 

Please print the waiver form, if you are able, sign, and bring to your first shuffleboard game to make sign-in go quickly and smoothly. Thank you!

 

Even better, we’re hosting an Open House on Saturday, April 25th from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm! This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce shuffleboard to everyone—not just retirees, but those with busy work schedules too. That’s exactly why we chose a Saturday—to make it accessible and fun for all.

 

Bring your friends, bring your family, and come experience the excitement with us. We’re looking forward to welcoming new faces and sharing the fun of shuffleboard!

 

CanAm Tournament Volunteers Needed

 

Our club is hosting the CanAm Tournament May 24th – 29th, welcoming 40 U.S. players and 40 Canadian players from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario plus spectators. It will be a busy and exciting week!

 

We need volunteers to help prepare and clean courts in the morning, mid-day, and at the end of the day.

 

Even a little time makes a big difference.

Volunteer Ambassadors

 

We’re also looking for Volunteer Ambassadors to help welcome players and spectators, answer questions, and share information about Edmonton, Beaumont, and local activities.
