PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Our third edition of the Charlie Loiselle Memorial tournament was a big success! We had 52 players which was 9 more than last year. I want to thank all of the volunteers who looked after courts, were referees, scorekeepers, pushers, or sold 50-50s. A special thank you goes out to Linda Wozniuk who was so instrumental in getting this event going. Another special thanks goes out to Vicky Moroz who did a super job of being the draw master. She imported the draw software from Arizona and it worked very well with some revisions! We just have to figure out how to get the printouts to a larger size. You can see our winners on our website under Events>Tournament Results or on our Facebook page. We have two very special events coming up! The first is a visit by a Physical Education Class from Austin O’Brien High School. That will be Tuesday June 10th at 12:00 pm (noon). We will only have the one 10:00 am game that day, but we will need volunteers to help with the students until 1:30. If you can do that please submit your name to Pat Wilson. The second event is the Friends and Family Evening on Friday, June 13th at 7:00 pm. As the name suggests we want you to bring family members and friends to learn and play our game. This will be FREE to those folks you bring, but they will be required to fill out a waiver before play. Pick up waiver forms any time at the desk to be filled in before coming or find on our website under Events. If waiver isn’t pre-completed arrive 20 minutes early. Attached is a form to list the players you will bring or find a copy under Events. We are limited to 64 players, so submit your list ASAP to Pat Wilson. If we have more than 64 we will host a second night, date to be announced.
