We are extremely proud of our Greater Edmonton Shuffleboard Association long time member, Collette Carlisle, for placing 8th in the 2023 ISA 40th Shuffleboard World Singles Championship in St. Petersburg, Florida, USA.  

100 players participated from the following countries:

• Canada

• Germany

• Netherlands

• Norway

• United Kingdom

• United States

Nicole Corbin

 

A big pat on the back for our Greater Edmonton Shuffleboard Association long time member, Nicole Corbin.  She was inducted into the Arizona Shuffleboard Association Hall of Fame.  To be nominated to the Hall of Fame, a person must fulfil the outlined qualifications and be nominated by an ASA member and then chosen by the selection committee.  Some of the requirements, briefly, are:

• have a record of at least seven (7) years in shuffleboard as a player and achieved a minimum of points designated for their district of residence as per the scoring guide. 

• must have an outstanding record of having won trophies/prizes and shown true sportsmanship ASA tournaments.
